National Press Day of India will be observed by Rashtriya Patrakar Mahasangh in New Delhi

Rashtriya Patrakar Mahasangh (RPM ) will observe National Press Day of India on November 16 , 2024 at Press Club of India under leadership of Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantray National President of RPM.
An online meeting was organised by journalists from across India to deliberate & work out detailed plan of celebration on 20th October 2024.
National President of RPM, Dr. Pavitra Mohan Samantray said that the two-day programs to be held in Delhi on 15 and 16 November have been finalized. He said that we all have to unite and take the organization far ahead while maintaining harmony with everyone. National Treasurer of RPM Dheeraj Kumar sought suggestions from everyone regarding the programs to be held for two days.
NMC founding member Bablu Chakraborty suggested that a memorandum regarding the problems faced by journalists across the country should be addressed to the Prime Minister and submitted to the PMO. It was unanimously decided to invite Press Registrar General RNI (PRGI), Director General, DAVP (CBC), PIB and I&B Ministers to the National Press Day celebrations and hold a delegation level meeting with them.
In a special meeting at the two-day event, the national committee of RPM will be expanded and new state committees will be formed to expand the organizational network.
