Nirmala Sitharaman Responds To Mahua Moitra Of The TMC By Saying That You May Locate Pappu In West Bengal

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman retaliated on December 14 after Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra attacked the Modi administration, claiming that “Pappu” can be found in West Bengal and that the “maachis” of the people’s mandate given to Mamata Banerjee’s party led to looting and arson in the state after the party won the election.
In the Lok Sabha, Sitharaman also aimed to draw attention to the disparity in the circumstances surrounding the post-election outcomes in Gujarat and West Bengal.
After the BJP won the most recent assembly election in Gujarat, there was calm, but the minister claimed that after TMC won the elections in West Bengal in 2021, there had been arson, looting, rape, and burning of our party workers’ residences.
The administration was criticized by Moitra on December 13 for some macroeconomic figures, and he also said that the real question isn’t who set the fire, but rather who gave the “mad man” the “maachis.”
The finance minister made fun of the TMC by claiming that when that party gained the “maachis,” there was looting, rape, arson, and burning of BJP employees’ homes.
During the debate in the Lok Sabha on December 13, Moitra launched a broadside against both the BJP’s politics of protecting rape suspects as well as the government’s economic management.
She had constantly questioned who the “Pappu” was, citing a fall in certain macroeconomic data, and then went on to say that the real question is not who started the fire, but who handed the “crazy man” the matches.
BJP supporters refer to Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, as “Pappu.”
Sitharaman responded by stating that all of the macroeconomic fundamentals are being called into question.
Sitharaman further stated that West Bengal would not be eligible to receive cash under the MNREGA rural job guarantee program until March 2022 since the state administration has not yet responded to charges of financial mismanagement.
According to the MNREGA Act, she claimed, the federal government cannot distribute funds after receiving complaints unless the relevant state has provided the requisite justification.
The minister claims that India is the largest economy with the quickest rate of growth and acceptable levels of inflation.
