Seven People Have Been Booked After A Woman Was Forced Into Having A Kidney Transplant

Following a complaint from a woman who claimed the suspects donated her kidney in exchange for a promise of a government position for her husband, the Faridabad Police detained seven persons, among them the head of the nephrology department of a private hospital.

The woman, who is from Palwal, reported the incident at Sector 17 police station on December 16 night, according to the police.

Rinky Saurot allegedly told police that she contacted one of the defendants after seeing a social media post for kidney donation in 2020.

She continued by saying that the suspect called her and her husband back to their office after taking her blood sample and imprisoned them in a Delhi home for several days.

No arrests have been made, according to the police.

Police reported that an FIR was filed against the accused in accordance with IPC sections 419, 420, 465, 471, 506, and 120B as well as sections 18, 19, and 20 of the Transplantation of Human Organs Act.
