These Cities Recorded The Best AQI As Delhi Chokes

Delhi and several of its neighboring states, notably Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, continue to have bad air days. On October 30, the national capital’s air quality index (AQI) was reported in the extremely bad category for the second straight day. On October 28, it dipped to the severe zone. The Delhi government has decided to forbid all construction and demolition work in the city as a result of the current circumstances.

Nevertheless, there are a number of areas in the nation that has not just acceptable but excellent air quality. According to the daily bulletin published by the Central Pollution Control Board, these cities extended from Meghalaya to Karnataka and even to Kerala (CPCB).

The government organization classifies AQI readings between 0 and 50 as “good,” 51 to 100 as “satisfactory,” 101 to 200 as “moderate,” 201 to 300 as “poor,” 301 to 400 as “very poor,” and 401 to 500 as “severe.”
