News Mania Desk : Aero India 2025, the 15th edition of Asia’s premier aerospace and defense exhibition, took place from February 10 to 14 at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The event, themed “The Runway to a Billion Opportunities,” showcased India’s advancements in aerospace technology and defense capabilities. Inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the exhibition attracted participation from over 90 countries, including more than 900 exhibitors, with 150 foreign companies.

Aero India 2025 featured a series of high-profile events, such as the Defence Ministers’ Conclave, CEOs Roundtable, and the inauguration of the India and iDEX Pavilions. The exhibition space spanned 42,000 square meters, with over 275 exhibits in the India Pavilion, highlighting capabilities in aerospace, land, and naval defense, as well as advancements in space and niche technologies.

A notable highlight was the rare display of advanced fighter jets from both Russia and the United States. The Russian Su-57 Felon and the American Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II were showcased together, symbolizing India’s strategic defense partnerships and its efforts to modernize its military capabilities.

The event also underscored India’s growing role in the global aerospace supply chain. Companies like Airbus, Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Rolls-Royce are increasingly sourcing components from Indian firms to mitigate Western supply chain disruptions. Bengaluru-based companies such as Hical Technologies and JJG Aero have experienced significant growth, with Hical aiming to double its aerospace division revenue to $57.57 million within three years.

Aero India 2025 not only highlighted India’s technological advancements but also served as a platform to strengthen international defense collaborations and explore new opportunities in the aerospace sector.
