Tolls Will Now Only Be Paid By Commercial Vehicles

Any expenses incurred during the expressway’s development are covered. Now, though, Madhya Pradesh residents and visitors can enjoy themselves. Please be aware that there will no longer be a toll for personal vehicles. Only business vehicles will be subject to tolling.

According to DM MH Rizvi of MPRDC (Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited), it was previously determined to collect tolls from all four-wheelers. However, as per government orders, only commercial vehicles will now be subject to toll collection.

It was determined at the cabinet meeting held last month to waive the toll for private vehicles traveling along this road, such as cars, jeeps, and passenger buses. Then, the bidder selection procedure is started over. It is said that all three of the toll blocks on the mentioned route would begin construction after the tender procedure is finished by the end of next month. Notably, MPRDC completed the asphalt work on the aforementioned route three months ago. It has been determined to impose a toll in order to recoup its sum.
