56 Other RTO Services Are Now Available Online

With the use of Aadhaar authentication, you can now voluntarily use up to 58 citizen-centric services related to transportation online. According to a notification released by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on September 16, 2022, these services include the application and renewal of driving licenses, the application and renewal of learner licenses, the registration of vehicles, and the transfer of ownership, among others. This action aims to reduce the burden of compliance by removing the requirement to visit regional transport offices (RTOs).
Who is eligible to use these online services?
Only users with 16-digit Aadhaar IDs are able to access 58 different online services. Please be aware that, per the road ministry circular, in order to use these services online, your cell number must be linked to your Aadhaar number.
