IIT Kharagpur Conferred IEI Engineering Education Excellence Award 2025

Kharagpur, India | 06th January 2025 – The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) has been awarded the prestigious IEI Engineering Education Excellence Award 2025 by The Institution of Engineers (India) for Excellence in Overall Performance in the category of Engineering Colleges and Institutions.

The award was presented during the 40th Indian Engineering Congress, held at Durgapur. The honour was received on behalf of IIT Kharagpur by Prof. Neeraj Kumar Goyal, Associate Dean, Strategy and Analytics. This recognition underscores IIT Kharagpur’s sustained leadership in engineering education, cutting-edge research, innovation, academic governance, and its significant contributions to national development. As India’s first IIT, the Institute continues to set benchmarks in higher education and technological advancement.
