PM’s approval of Israel’s Gaza plan: Humanity must never be a casualty of war

Humanity must never become a “victim of conflict,” according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reiterated India’s position on the Gaza issue on Thursday. At a joint press conference in Israel with Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister Modi stated that the Gaza Peace project can pave the way for peace.
“India’s stance is clear: Humanity must never become a victim of conflict. A path to peace has been created through the Gaza Peace Plan. India has fully supported these efforts. In the future as well, we will continue dialogue and cooperation with all countries,” he added.The Prime Minister has made it clear that India supports peace while denouncing the Hamas killing in Israel on October 7. The 75-year-old stated in his historic speech to Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, on Wednesday that although the road to peace is not always straightforward, New Delhi backs the international community’s efforts to promote communication, peace, and stability.
