NEW DELHI, Sept 28: The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) will organise an All India Women Farmers’ Workers’ Conference in New Delhi on September 30 as part of the International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026, the organisation said in an invitation to the media.
The conference will focus on issues concerning women farmers and workers and provide a platform to share information on the organisation’s initiatives, objectives and matters related to women engaged in agriculture, the BKS said.
The September 30 programme is being organised in New Delhi under the broader theme of the International Year of the Woman Farmer–2026, with the BKS seeking to highlight the role and concerns of women in agriculture.
