Members of Alliance Club Step Forward to Support Assam Flood Victims Through Relief Initiative

Kolkata: In a gesture of solidarity and humanitarian concern, members of a community group have come forward to support people affected by the devastating floods in Assam.

The initiative was prompted by Ally Ushaji, a friend residing in Assam, who appealed for support for flood-affected families. Responding to the call, several members actively contributed towards relief efforts, demonstrating the spirit of community service and compassion.

Among those extending support were Ally Nayan–Ushaji, Ally Praveenji–Priyankaji, Ally Bharatji–Varunaji, Ally Rameshji–Umaji, Ally Mitesh–Nidhi and Ally Manishaji.

As part of the initiative, 25 relief sets were donated, with the assistance expected to indirectly benefit around 250 needy people. The relief effort is being carried out in association with Sanskar Seva Sanghathan.

The organisers expressed their gratitude to all members who contributed and encouraged others to come forward in support of families facing hardship due to the floods.

The initiative highlights the importance of collective action during times of crisis and reinforces the message that helping those in need is a shared social responsibility.
