In the era of social media influencers and reels, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has advised young people to study the autobiographies of those they look up to and to avoid taking short cuts in life. He also emphasised the ongoing need for committed young people to continue Viksit Bharat’s objective.
Mr. Modi urged a generation that is unfazed by challenges and has the guts to pave the way for the country’s independence. The Prime Minister made this statement in New Delhi during the publication of former President Ram Nath Kovind’s autobiography, “Triumph of the Indian Republic: My Life, My Struggles.”
The book provides a very intimate picture of Mr. Kovind’s extraordinary life journey, following his experiences, hardships, and triumphs from his early years to his illustrious public career and final tenure as India’s fourteenth president. The book sheds light on the principles, events, and situations that influenced his path and public service.
Speaking on the event, Mr. Modi stated that he has found enormous strength in Ram Nath Kovind’s leadership as President. According to him, Mr. Kovind’s autobiography would leave a legacy for Indian democracy and society in addition to offering insights into his life, character, and accomplishments.
Prime Minister Modi advised the younger generation to read about Ram Nath Kovind’s experiences and writings and to learn about his life path in his own words. He claimed that notable figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Babasaheb Ambedkar, Jyotiba Phule, and Savitribai Phule envisioned reconstructing India so that even the most disadvantaged and impoverished would have the chance to rise to the top. According to Mr. Modi, individuals like Ram Nath Kovind have not only improved their own lives but also significantly contributed to the realisation of those long-held goals and aspirations.
Ram Nath Kovind stated during the event that politics is a tool for serving the country rather than just a way to gain power. According to him, education offers a plethora of opportunities and different paths in life. According to Mr. Kovind, millions of people now have a roof over their heads thanks to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
