Kolkata Restaurants Roll Out Special Menus for Durga Puja

With Durga Puja approaching, restaurants across Kolkata have prepared special menus offering everything from seafood and Bengali-inspired dishes to Thai and Cantonese cuisine. Several venues have introduced limited-period festive spreads for diners looking to take a break from pandal hopping.
At Café Offbeat UpThere, the festive menu includes mocktails such as Orange Piroshka, Cranberry Lychee Twist and Black Currant Slush. Diners can also choose from Watermelon Feta Salad, Prawns and Avocado Salad, Honey Chilli Lotus Stem, Burmese Bhel, Portuguese Chicken Skewers, Harissa Honey Chicken and Crunchy Fish Fry. Baked Cheesecake and Seasonal Tres Leches are among the dessert options.
Chapter 2 is offering a retro-themed Puja menu featuring Marry Me Prawn Cocktail, Caesar Salad, Cream of Crab Meat Soup, Pepper Chicken Wings, Bacon-Wrapped Prawn and Prawn on Toast. Its seafood selection includes Bekti Florentine, Bekti Newburg, Prawn Thermidor and Tuscan Butter Salmon, while mains include Chicken Tetrazzini, Lamb Goulash and Pork Vindaloo.
At Oudh 1590, diners can enjoy a special menu inspired by the royal kitchens of old India, featuring smoky kebabs, slow-cooked curries and fragrant biryanis.
25 Main Street Café has introduced a Pujo Adda Platter for four, featuring Estuarine Bhetki Fingers, Gondhoraj Chicken, Freshwater Prawn Poppers, Chilli Cheese Toast, French Fries and Coleslaw, accompanied by a selection of dips.
The Yellow Turtle is offering a Puja Special Lunch Buffet with more than 30 dishes, combining Bengali favourites with Indian and Asian flavours. For those seeking Thai cuisine, Kin Thai on Park Street is offering a menu centred on regional Thai flavours, balancing sweet, spicy, sour, salty and bitter notes.
Drip Culture Café & Bakery offers specialty coffee, fresh bakes and Continental, Asian and Indian dishes. Its offerings include signature IV Drip Coffee, Spanish Latte, V60 pour-overs, artisanal pastries and desserts. Meanwhile, Yauatcha Kolkata has prepared a Cantonese festive menu featuring Exotic Vegetable Dumplings, Red Dragon Chicken Dumplings, Crispy Tofu with Kung Pao Sauce, Smoked Chilli Noodles and Golden Aromatic Fried Rice. Desserts include Miel and Ginger with Honeycomb Ice Cream and Tropical Harmony with Lemon Yogurt Sorbet.
