BOBBY CHAKRABORTY’S LIFE CHANGING ANTI ADDICTION CAMPAIGN NO. 425 AT PRESIDENCY SCHOOL BANGALORE NORTH(YELAHANKA)

How many of us actually come on the forefront, on to the battlefield…to fight against the harmful social trends of smoking, alcoholism, online obscenity, drug abuse, abusive language, smartphone addiction, online gambling and betting, bullying etc.? We would say very few, as most us are either silent spectators or indulging into these vices ourselves!

This is where popular actor/activist/teacher of method acting, Bobby Chakraborty from Kolkata, is becoming the game changer, through his widely popular, globally acclaimed, free of cost awareness program for the youth, against all the above mentioned evils of the society, titled ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND’.

Recently he has collaborated with the nationally renowned, Presidency Group of Schools, Bangalore, for a series of anti addiction campaigns,in their schools, through the socially responsible initiative from the enterprising Director of Academics, Dr. Angelo Michael D’Cruize and ofcourse through the guidance of The dynamic Director of The Presidency Group of Institutions, Dr. Nafeesa Ahmed, who themselves are great supporters of a life without addiction.

On July 3rd Bobby conducted his 425th life changing session and his 3rd in Bangalore, at Presidency School Bangalore North (Yelahanka) . The packed, state of the art auditorium had soldiers from the 8th-12th grade, who promised to fight with Bobby, keeping the formula of HCF(Health-Career-Family) in mind. They were highly motivated by Bobby, with his customary wit and eloquence,to believe in the mantra ‘I am the king of my mind’.

The official photographer of the session was soldier Tejas Vaddepalli, from Grade 12, assisted by soldier Mukta Kulkarni, Grade 8. The highly interactive session had Mukta as ‘The 1st soldier’ and the title of ‘The Trendsetter’ went to Garishma. The concluding surprise contest had soldiers Aarosh, Shourya and Archit as the winners, who, along with Tejas, were given special prizes, HCF Tshirts and community service certificates by their beloved ‘Bobby Dada’.

Dr. Angelo Michael D’Cruize, who is also The Principal of this school, sat throughout the session, inspite of his busy schedule and appreciated Bobby, in his vote of thanks, for his noble service and urged his students to take away everything they could from this powerful session, to ensure a happy and healthy life ahead.
