Amidst the unfolding investigation into the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence, Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch took a significant step on Thursday by petitioning the Home Ministry to issue a look-out circular (LOC) against Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Anmol Bishnoi drew police attention after he made a public declaration on Facebook, claiming responsibility for the shooting incident at Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai.
Earlier reports from Tuesday revealed that Mumbai Police’s crime branch, as part of its ongoing probe, unearthed two pistols, three magazines, and 13 bullets from Gujarat’s Tapi River. The prime suspects in connection with the firing incident, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were apprehended on April 16 near Bhuj town, Gujarat, in a joint operation by Mumbai and Kutch police teams.
