News Mania Desk/Agnibeena Ghosh/24th July 2024
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024 on its official website, ctet.nic.in. Alongside the answer key, the scanned copies of the OMR sheets have also been made available. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access the provisional key using their roll number and date of birth.
To download the provisional answer key, candidates should visit the CBSE CTET official site. On the homepage, they need to click the link for the CTET 2024 Answer Key, enter their login details, and submit the information. The answer key will then be displayed on the screen. It is advisable for candidates to download and keep a hard copy of the key for future reference.
The objection window for the provisional answer key will remain open until July 26, 2024. This allows candidates to raise any concerns or discrepancies they might find with the provisional key. The objection window can also be accessed via the official CBSE CTET website.
As per CBSE’s examination weeding out rules, records, including the OMR answer sheets, will be retained only for up to two months from the result declaration date. Therefore, it is essential for candidates to review their OMR sheets and the provisional answer key promptly.
Candidates are cautioned against providing false or incorrect information during the objection process, as it could lead to the cancellation of their test results, forfeiture of certificates, or even legal action.
The validity of the CTET qualifying certificate is for a lifetime across all categories. There is no limit on the number of attempts a candidate can make to acquire the CTET certificate. Those who have already qualified are also permitted to retake the exam to improve their scores.
The CTET July 2024 examination took place on July 7 across 136 cities nationwide, with Paper 1 scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Paper 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. This marks the second CTET session of the year, following the January 21, 2024, exam, for which the provisional answer key was released on February 7, 2024.
The release of the provisional answer key and OMR sheets comes at a crucial time for candidates who are keen to verify their performance and address any discrepancies before the final results are announced. It is also noted that no grievances regarding the answer keys will be entertained after the CTET July 2024 results are declared.
Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the CBSE CTET official website for the latest updates and to ensure they complete all necessary procedures within the stipulated time frame.
