Luisana Carrero, a coach specializing in nutrition and weight loss, often provides useful tips on fat loss via her Instagram account. Her content is filled with useful advice on typical dietary errors, efficient exercise strategies, and lasting habits to boost and sustain healthy weight loss. On July 14, Luisana posted on Instagram detailing 10 fruits that may aid in losing those extra kilos more quickly.
“There are no magical fruits that specifically target belly fat, but choosing fruits that are fibre-rich, lower in calories, and satisfying can absolutely help you stay in a calorie deficit, reduce cravings, and keep you full, which all support losing belly fat over time.”
1.Fruits (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
Reduced sugar content, rich in fiber and antioxidants. Excellent in yogurt bowls, smoothies, or enjoyed as a snack.
2.Oranges
Rich in fiber and moisture, extremely satisfying for a relatively low number of calories. Cut them into pieces with cinnamon or match with nut butter.
3.Pears
Even more fibrous than apples. Great for aiding digestion and sustaining fullness.
4.Citrus fruits and mandarins
Eating whole fruits is more satisfying than drinking juice, as juice contains many calories in a small portion.
5.Peaches and nectarines
Sugary and moisturizing with beneficial fiber.
6.Bananas
A bit elevated in carbohydrates, yet an excellent snack for before or after workouts.
7.Melon and honeydew
Extremely hydrating and significantly low in calories. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.
8.Kiwi
Loaded with fiber and vitamin C.
9.Pineapple
Provides anti-inflammatory advantages and enhances dishes with a sweet taste.
10.Citrus fruits such as lemons and limes:
Not a fruit for snacking, but ideal for enhancing water, yogurt, or certain dishes to avoid more calorie-dense sauces.
“Pair fruits with protein or healthy fats (like Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs, or nuts) to stay fuller longer and keep blood sugar more stable, super helpful for cravings and managing overall intake,” Luisana suggested.
