Four elderly members of an Indian-origin family have disappeared during a road trip from New York to Pennsylvania, and the police have not been able to locate them since they were last seen on July 29.
Reports indicate that the four elderly individuals – Dr. Kishore Divan (89), Asha Divan (85), Shailesh Divan (86), and Gita Divan (84) – were last spotted at a Burger King location on Peach Street in Erie, Pennsylvania, on July 29. Their most recent credit card transaction took place at this site. They were heading to the Palace of Gold in Marshall County.
The Palace of Gold is a well-known spiritual site created by followers of Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON. The two senior men and their spouses were riding in a light green Toyota Camry with a New York license plate (EKW2611). They intended to spend Tuesday night at the Palace of Gold. Nonetheless, a report from WTRF.com states that law enforcement verified the group did not register.
