Jio Launches Free AI Classroom Initiative to Empower India with AI Skills

Reliance Jio has announced the launch of its AI Classroom, a free online course aimed at equipping Indians with essential artificial intelligence (AI) skills. Introduced at the Indian Mobile Congress 2025, the program is a joint initiative by JioPC and Jio Institute designed to make the country “AI-ready.”

The beginner-friendly course will run for four weeks, featuring one-hour weekly lectures. Participants will gain hands-on experience using leading AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Adobe Express, Suno.ai, and ElevenLabs. The curriculum covers prompt engineering, AI-based research, and creative presentations, culminating in a final project to apply the learned concepts.

The course is accessible through any PC, laptop, or desktop, and JioPC users will benefit from a dedicated shortcut on their home screen for easy access. Upon completion, all participants will receive a digital badge, while JioPC users will earn a certificate of completion from Jio Institute.

JioPC, which allows users to convert any television or monitor into a functional PC using a Jio set-top box, is being positioned as an affordable digital learning platform.

With this initiative, Reliance Jio aims to democratize access to AI education, empowering students, professionals, and beginners across India to understand and utilize AI tools effectively. By integrating practical learning with accessibility, Jio’s AI Classroom seeks to bridge the digital skills gap and support India’s growing ambitions in the global AI landscape.
