For International Women’s Day 2026, a special two-part panel series was presented under the transformative theme, “The Abundance Loop: Give To Gain A Gender-Equal World.” The initiative shifted the narrative from scarcity to abundance, emphasizing how acts of giving—whether through sharing credit, offering platforms, or giving back to the Earth—can create meaningful collective progress. The sessions provided a roadmap for achieving gender equality and sustainable growth, encouraging a move beyond individual success toward a shared and thriving future.

The first panel, “The Alchemy of Craft,” explored the intersection of heritage and sustainability. It featured Paromita Banerjee, a celebrated fashion designer known for her commitment to traditional Indian textiles, and Surucchi Khubchandani, founder of Third Soil and an advocate for craft and climate. The discussion highlighted how giving visibility to artisans and nurturing the environment through conscious design enables the global creative economy to gain authenticity and resilience. Their insights demonstrated how heritage can be woven into a gender-equal and ecologically balanced future.

The second panel, “The Architecture of Impact,” extended these principles into the realms of corporate, legal, and media influence. The session brought together Dr. Alakananda Das, Founder & CEO of The Looms Ecopreneurs Federation and President of WICCI India ASEAN Business Council; Dr. Gargi Chatterjea, Executive Director at CESC Limited; and Bornali Biswas, Editor-in-Chief of News Mania and Chairman of the Bharat Dignity Awards. The panel examined how institutional support, legal equity, and inclusive narratives contribute to building a more just and empowered society. It also emphasized the importance of regional collaboration through networks like SAARC Business Council in creating lasting opportunities for women.

Together, the series stood as a powerful testament to the idea that when we give collectively, we gain collectively—building a more inclusive, equitable, and abundant world for all.
