Kharagpur : The Kharagpur Sadar Assembly constituency witnessed intense political activity on Saturday as BJP candidate Dilip Ghosh filed his nomination papers amid a massive show of support from party workers and supporters.
A festive atmosphere gripped Kharagpur city from early morning as thousands of BJP activists and supporters gathered to take part in a grand procession organized ahead of the nomination filing. The rally began from the Ram Temple at Golebazar and moved through the city before reaching the SDO office, where the nomination papers were to be submitted.
The large turnout highlighted the party’s organizational strength in the constituency and added momentum to its election campaign. Slogans, party flags, and enthusiastic participation by supporters marked the procession, turning it into a major political event in the town. Adding significance to the occasion, Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari joined the rally and addressed party workers. He encouraged them to remain united and confident, expressing hope that the BJP would emerge victorious in the upcoming election.
