Archana Puran Singh Says Laughing at Kapil Sharma’s Jokes Is Tough, Samay Raina Turns It Into a Joke

News Mania Desk/ Piyal Chatterjee/ 30th August 2026

Actor and television personality Archana Puran Singh found herself at the centre of a hilarious exchange with comedian Samay Raina during the latest episode of India’s Got Latent 2. Known for her distinctive laughter and long association with Kapil Sharma’s comedy shows, Archana was playfully questioned about her role on comedy programmes.

The episode featured Archana alongside Orry, Nishant Suri and Sharon Verma on the panel. Samay took several humorous jabs at Archana, including comments about her age, family and popular vlogs. Archana, however, responded to the teasing with her own witty comebacks.

Samay also brought up Archana’s family vlogging activities. He joked about her husband, actor Parmeet Sethi, and her sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, who were reportedly seated in the front row. Archana joined in the banter and warned her sons that appearing in the front row could make them targets for jokes rather than bring them fame.

The conversation then moved to Archana’s iconic laugh, which has become closely associated with her appearances on Kapil Sharma’s comedy programmes. Samay mimicked her signature laugh while joking about whether she was taking her work seriously.

When Archana described laughing as the “toughest work”, Samay immediately saw an opportunity to trap her with a follow-up question. He asked whether laughing at Kapil Sharma’s jokes was difficult. Archana instinctively answered in the affirmative before realising that she had walked directly into his joke.

Laughing at her own response, Archana acknowledged that she had fallen for Samay’s setup. The comedian then joked that she had only one job and could potentially lose even that, adding another humorous twist to their exchange. Archana also traded sharp remarks with Orry during the episode. Her quick responses demonstrated that she was equally comfortable giving back the jokes rather than simply being the subject of them. India’s Got Latent 2, hosted by Samay Raina, continues to feature comedians, entertainers and internet personalities in its unconventional panel-based format, with episodes available on YouTube and Netflix.
