Dil Chahta Hai Completes 25 Years as Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Farhan Akhtar Reunite

Farhan Akhtar’s directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai has completed 25 years, marking a major milestone for one of Hindi cinema’s most influential coming-of-age films. To commemorate the anniversary, several members of the film’s cast and crew reunited in Mumbai, bringing back memories of a movie that continues to enjoy a strong connection with audiences.

Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Farhan Akhtar, who played Akash, Sameer and directed the film respectively, were among those present at the reunion. Actors Sonali Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia, along with producer Ritesh Sidhwani, were also part of the gathering. Their reunion offered fans a nostalgic glimpse of the team behind the much-loved film.

However, one prominent member of the original cast was missing from the celebration. Akshaye Khanna, who played the reserved and introspective Siddharth, was notably absent from the reunion. His character remains one of the most remembered aspects of the film, particularly for the mature and emotional storyline involving Tara, played by Dimple Kapadia.
