Aastha Mahila Samity Hosts Grand Teachers’ Day Celebration and Kavi Sammelan in Kharagpur

Kharagpur : Aastha Mahila Samity, organised a beautiful Teachers’ Day Celebration and Kavi Sammelan on 5 September 2026 at the B.S.C.C. Office, Town Thana, Ward No. 22 at Kharagpur, in West Midnapore district.

The programme was dedicated to honouring and appreciating the valuable contribution of teachers who continue to guide and inspire society.

The respected teachers honoured on the occasion included Mohan Rathor, Lila Rathor, Gaurango Prati, Tapas Maity, Shridhar Kabi, Vandana Prajapati, Neelam Agarwal, Vijayakanth Singh, C. S. Tibari and Umesh Prasad.

The programme was graced by distinguished guests, including Javed Ahmed Khan, Anish Rehman, S. A. Khan, Mukesh Sahu, P. Srinivas Rao, Deepak Bara and representatives of the Sat Maa Puja Committee. Kamal Ahmed also played an important role in the programme.

The evening featured a wonderful Kavi Sammelan, adding a cultural and literary touch to the celebration.
