The “CORE” program on current security challenges will be organized by HQ IDS.

From September 14–18, 2026, HQ Integrated Defense Staff (IDS) will host a “Combined Operational Review and Evaluation (CORE)” event for senior Defense Force officers at Manekshaw Center in New Delhi. The five-day event also includes officers from the Ministries of Defense, External Affairs, and Home Affairs.

Through encounters with eminent subject matter experts and lecturers from a variety of sectors, the CORE program seeks to expose senior leaders to current national and regional security concerns. In their future leadership responsibilities, participants will be able to make well-informed and balanced judgments thanks to the program’s deeper awareness of developing concerns.

Senior Defense Force officers will attend a “Combined Operational Review and Evaluation (CORE)” session hosted by HQ Integrated Defense Staff (IDS) at Manekshaw Center in New Delhi from September 14–18, 2026. Officers from the Ministries of Defense, External Affairs, and Home Affairs are also present during the five-day event.

The CORE program aims to introduce senior leaders to contemporary national and regional security issues through interactions with distinguished subject matter experts and speakers from a range of sectors. The program’s increased awareness of emerging issues will enable participants to make informed and fair decisions in their future leadership roles.
