Kolkata : Billionaire industrialist Anil Agarwal’s Vedanta Group is planning a major investment of ₹60,000 crore to set up a power generation project in West Bengal, in a move that could create around 10,000 jobs and give a fresh push to the state’s industrial ambitions. The proposed project would be one of the largest private investments announced in West Bengal in recent years.
