Uddhav Thackeray’s Brother And Nephew Appeared On Stage Alongside Maharashtra Chief Minister At A Dussehra Gathering
Elder brother of Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray, Jaidev Thackeray, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took the stage together on October 5 night at the rebel faction’s Dussehra rally at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai.
At the MMRDA venue in BKC, the location of the gathering in suburban Mumbai, Jaidev Thackeray’s estranged wife Smita and Nihar, the son of the late Bindumadhav Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray’s eldest brother, were also present.
At the center of the stage was a chair that had previously been occupied by late Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray during his final rally in Thane.
Champa Singh Thapa, a loyal assistant to the late Bal Thackeray who spent 27 years working for the Shiv Sena founder, was also present. Smita Thackeray explained to reporters that Shinde, the leader of the Shiv Sena’s renegade section, had invited her to the event.
According to rumors, Jaidev Thackeray and his younger brother Uddhav Thackeray have a tense relationship. Jaidev praised Shinde for his bold action and asked the workers not to desert him in his succinct statement.
The faction led by Uddhav Thackeray held its own Dussehra demonstration in Shivaji Park in the heart of Mumbai. Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray each assert that their group is the genuine Shiv Sena.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, which was governed by the Shiv Sena until Shinde rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray in June, was overthrown as a result.
