Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of the Samajwadi Party and a former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, passed away on October 10, 2022, according to his son and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav. The age of Mulayam Singh Yadav was 82.
Since August 22 Mulayam Singh Yadav has been receiving care at the Medanta Hospital, and on October 2 he was moved to the intensive care unit.
Since then, he had become fairly critically ill and was receiving care in the ICU from a large group of medical professionals.
