A Adolescent Girl’s Entire Set Of Teeth Became Damaged When She Drank Too Much Fizzy Beverage
At the age of 18, can your teeth deteriorate to this degree? Put the blame on the overuse of fizzy beverages. Fathima Rooha, a Maldives citizen who is barely 18, experienced that. Since she was 15, Fathima has seen numerous dentists in an attempt to have her teeth corrected, but without success. The only course of therapy, according to the doctors, was to entirely remove her teeth.
However, Fathima and her family were apprehensive about using child-sized prosthetic teeth sets. Fathima has been looking for a dental restoration procedure for the past three years. She visited various hospitals in India on her yearly trips in pursuit of this treatment. Fathima had dentures since her teeth were missing due to corroding.
Fatima unexpectedly showed up at Dr. Vishnu’s Multi-Specialty Dental Clinic in Perurkada in Thiruvananthapuram on her yearly trip to India. According to Dr. Vishnu, they were unsure if the treatment could be completed while the child’s teeth were still present given their age. Then they discovered that only the biting portion of her teeth was missing and that the roots were healthy and long. It was informed that Fathima’s dream may be fulfilled as a result.
Soon, the team led by Dr. Sujeesh Kuruvila and G Nelson Joy began their treatment under Dr. Vishnu’s direction. The rest of the procedures were carried out to make the top and lower teeth permanent, including extending and shaping the roots to resemble teeth. Fatima returned to the Maldives with joy after finishing 5 treatments in a month. Additionally, Dr. Vishnu gave her the assurance that he had made plans to carry out the once every six month follow-up testing in the Maldives.
