A couple in the US experienced the shock of their lives when they learned they were carrying a kid, and they gave birth to their first child barely 48 hours later.
First-year teacher Peyton Stover, 23, of Omaha, went to the doctor after suffering symptoms including exhaustion that she thought was brought on by work stress.
The 23-year-old also claimed that further medical worries accompanied the news of her unborn child. Ms. Stover told the publication that her liver and kidneys stopped working correctly, which prompted the physicians to take immediate action.
Preeclampsia is a pregnancy disorder that can lead to major consequences. It is characterized by high blood pressure and symptoms of organ system damage. Doctors discovered that Ms. Stover had preeclampsia.
In order to preserve the mother and infant, the medical professionals conducted an urgent C-section. Ms. Stover described the situation as extremely terrifying. She gave birth to a boy named Kash who was born 10 weeks early and weighed only 4 pounds, according to KETV.
