A family of four from Karnataka was discovered hanging in Bihar, and police discovered 25 sleeping tablet strips.

According to a police officer, four Karnataka tourists—three of whom were women—were discovered hanged in their room at a dharmshala in the Nalanda region of Bihar on Friday.
According to the documents that are now accessible, the victims were an old woman, her son, and two daughters.
The incident took place in Rajgir town, which is a popular destination for Jains and Buddhists alike.The four tourists were discovered dead when the police broke down the door of their accommodation, which was reserved in the name of GR Naga Prasad, because of a horrible stench coming from it.
The deceased, who lived in Gubbi in the Tumkur district of Karnataka, were named as GR Sumangala (78), her daughters Shilpa GR (48) and Shrutha GB (43), and her son GR Naga Prasad (50). The documents state that GR Sumangala is Ratnabala Raju’s wife.
Two males and two women were discovered hanging, according to the original police statement. Rajgir DSP Sunil Kumar Singh said, “At around 9:40 am, the manager of the dharmshala informed the Rajgir police station that some people had arrived from Bengaluru and were staying in a room. A foul smell was emanating from that room.”
Singh claimed that the four were discovered hanging after police officers entered the chamber, which had been shut from the inside for three days, in the presence of a magistrate.
According to the DSP, cell phones were confiscated from the scene of the crime, and it was determined from the phone numbers that the phones belonged to the southern city.
Before the remains were removed, forensic specialists took pictures and videos in front of the magistrate, and the dog squad examined the site, the district police said in a statement.
According to the statement, a significant amount of sleeping pills—25 strips—were also found in the deceased’s possession.
Following the preparation of the inquest report, the bodies were taken to Sadar Hospital in Bihar Sharif of the Nalanda district for post-mortem examination. According to authorities, a medical board using videography will do the autopsy.
A special investigative team has been established by Nalanda SP to look into every facet of the matter. A two-person team has also been dispatched to Gubbi, Karnataka, in this regard.
