Adnan Sami, a singer, and composer has talked openly about losing 130 kg and revealed that his entire change was a purposeful effort. Sami also reflected on a previous experience in which a US immigration official had doubts about his identity based only on his passport photo.

Adnan Sami acknowledged that reducing 130 kg at once required conscious effort and said that he had previously tried to lose weight but had been unsuccessful.

Adnan Sami recalled that his previous waist measurement was 81 cm and said that his entire wardrobe had changed. He continued by saying that he had saved a handful of his old outfits as mementos.
