Amit Shah Holds Grand Roadshow in Kharagpur Ahead of Assembly Elections

Kharagpur, West Bengal : Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a massive roadshow in Kharagpur, giving a fresh push to the BJP’s campaign ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
Thousands of people gathered on both sides of the roads to welcome him. BJP Supporters raised slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” as Amit Shah, standing on a specially designed vehicle, greeted the crowd throughout the route.

A large number of BJP workers and supporters joined the roadshow with party flags and banners. The whole city of Kharagpur appeared to be filled with election excitement during the event.
Addressing the gathering, Amit Shah strongly attacked the ruling Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal. He promised that if the BJP comes to power, it will end corruption, the “cut-money” culture, and “syndicate rule” in the state.
He also said that strict steps would be taken to stop infiltration. At the same time, he promised several welfare schemes for women, youth, and government employees.
Seeing the huge turnout, Amit Shah said that the people of Bengal now want change. He added that the BJP is working with full determination to build a “Sonar Bangla”or Golden Bengal.
Kharagpur is considered an important stronghold of the BJP. Because of this, the roadshow is being seen as a major political event in Bengal.
