Amul honors Farhan’s performance as Ravi Shankar in The Beatles with a humorous comedic

An unexpected supporter of actor-director Farhan Akhtar’s Hollywood debut as Pandit Ravi Shankar is Amul India. The actor’s casting in Sam Mendes’ ambitious Beatles movie was celebrated by the dairy giant with a humorous commercial titled Sitar Turn for Farhan.

In keeping with Amul’s distinctive style, the illustrated creative shows Farhan sitting with a sitar next to a picture of Ravi Shankar, fusing humor with homage. Amul’s tribute has given the worldwide milestone a decidedly Indian mark of approval as word of his casting spreads throughout industry.In Sam Mendes’s film The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event, Farhan plays sitar master and Bharat Ratna recipient Ravi Shankar.

Amul captioned its creative: “Actor-director all set to make Hollywood debut in Beatles biopic as Ravi Shankar!” The wordplay — “Sitar Turn for Farhan”– plays on both the instrument and the shift in his career trajectory. Farhan reshared the tribute, thanking the brand for the nod.
