An exhibition of  Innovation in Technologies  organised by IEM held in Kolkata 

The Exhibition was  organised to  showcase  various innovation  in Technologies initiated by young minds to develop wide range of utility products  to find solutions to various problems faced by  people in every day life.

The exhibition was organized in collaboration with SMART Society, USA, and the Rotary Club of Salt Lake Silicon Valley.

The exhibition was graced by  industry experts and academic leaders, including Manjit Nayak, Director, STPI Kolkata & Eastern India; Abhijit Pal, Vice President, Tech Mahindra; Indranil Mitra, Partner, Data & Analytics, PwC; Sanjay Kumar Das, Joint Secretary, Govt. of West Bengal; Sankar Ghosh, Technology Solutions Lead, Accenture; Prof. Banani Chakrabarti, President, IEM-UEM Group; Prof. Sangamitra Chakrabarti, Director, IEM-UEM Group.

Prof. Banani Chakrabarti, President, IEM-UEM Group, remarked, “Innovación 2025 is a testament to our commitment in promoting young innovators. We take pride in providing a platform that transforms ideas into impactful solutions.”

Prof. Sangamitra Chakravarti Director , stressed need to train young students on Coding to empower young minds with knowledge and skills  to make them future ready  as well as to work on innovation of new and evolving Technologies like Artificial  Intelligence (AI ) and its wide range of applications to improve quality of every day life .

Prof. Prabir Kumar Das, HOD, Basic Science and Humanities & Faculty Head, Innovación 2025 mentioned the Exhibition provide platform to young students to showcase their talents as well as innovative ideas to peer groups and others.

A visionary leader  and pioneer educationist

Prof. Satyajit Chakrabarti, founder & Chancellor of The Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) and the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata,and in other  cities started “Innovación ” platform to encourage students to indulge in innovation in Technologies more than a decade ago . IEM and UEM institutions  empowering students with cutting edge tools of Information Technologies to  facilitate tech-lead innovation .

The exhibition featured  fusion of robotics, AI, gaming, and  innovation. Some of the innovative projects showcased  Desalination of sea water to Drinking water , AI-Powered Smart Helmet, Agricultural Drone and many more. More than 100 projects showcased by students. Large no. girls students participated to showcase their innovative projects.

Seeds of Innovations sowed by  late Prof. Satyajit Chakrabarti ( July 12, 1947 – December 19, 2024 ) decades ago , are  improving quality of life of millions in different  sectors across the planet Earth as well as promoting ” Ease of Living ” in all continents.
