A man with a gun and a fake PMO official were detained at the Mumbai venue prior to the PM’s event

Fake PMO ID cards, a rifle, and two men. Two people have been arrested by Mumbai Police following a security scare at the location of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled event in Mumbai.

The two guys were arrested late on Monday nite as part of a security protocol exercise, according to reports. Mumbai Police provided information about the arrest, stating that one of the detained males had a gun. At the PM Modi event location at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, a man was observed acting suspiciously, according to police.

The detentions triggered a security alert ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival. PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) at the NMACC on Tuesday evening.

Mumbai Police is currently interrogating the two men to find out their motive for entering the venue with a gun and with fake IDs. The Mumbai Crime Branch has taken over the investigation given the seriousness of the issue.

In addition to being questioned, the two detained individuals’ cell phones, identity documents, and other possessions are being inspected.Police stated that once the accusations are confirmed during the investigation, more legal action would be taken.
