The Paradise Box Office: Nani Film Opens Strong With Over Rs 34 Crore on Day One

Nani’s latest Telugu film The Paradise has opened strongly at the box office, collecting more than Rs 34 crore in India on its first day, according to early estimates. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the action drama generated considerable interest ahead of its release and recorded a substantial opening across its Telugu-language screenings.

The film reportedly earned around Rs 34.65 crore in India net collections on its opening day. Its India gross collection was estimated at approximately Rs 40 crore, while the worldwide gross was expected to be significantly higher as the film also opened in international markets.

The Paradise marks another collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela after their earlier film Dasara. The new project has been presented as an intense action drama and features Nani in a different setting from several of his recent performances. The film also stars Kayadu Lohar in a prominent role.

The opening figures put The Paradise among Nani’s notable recent openings. His previous releases have also attracted strong interest from audiences, with films such as Dasara, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Hi Nanna and HIT: The Third Case performing across different segments of the market.

The film’s first-day performance was supported by a strong number of shows and considerable audience interest. However, its longer-term box-office performance will depend on how well it maintains occupancy over the first weekend and during the days that follow.
