Arjun Kapoor confirms his relationship status

For some time now, there had been online rumors that Arjun Kapoor and his lover Malaika Arora had broken up. The actor from Singham Again finally responded to the rumors and declared that he is not dating anyone. At Raj Thackeray’s Diwali celebration in Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Monday, Arjun remarked, “Nahin ab main single hoon, relax karo (No, I am now single).” While engaging with the media, “calm down.” The paparazzi footage quickly went viral. His co-stars Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, and director Rohit Shetty were also present for the Diwali celebration.

For those who don’t know, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor began dating in 2018 following the actress’s 2017 divorce from Arbaaz Khan. When Malaika shared a romantic photo of herself with Arjun on Instagram in 2019 and wished him a happy birthday, they formally announced their romance. The pair has since been seen together at a number of dinners and functions.

The two chose not to remark on the news of their separation that had leaked a few months prior. Arjun was observed coming out to encourage Malaika and being there for her throughout all the ceremonies after her father committed suicide in September.

However, the news of their split has now been officially verified by the actor’s statement. In Arjun’s upcoming film, Singham Again, which is directed by Rohit Shetty, the actor will play the antagonist. The police worlds of Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi are combined in this cop movie, which also stars Jackie Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
