Ayodhya: 12 years after marriage, woman reveals her real religion to husband; forcibly circumcises son

After 12 years of marriage, a Hindu man got to know his wife’s real religion. The husband also alleged that she forcibly circumcised their son.

Jagbir Kori, a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodya, has filed a police complaint after he came to know that his wife Pooja, who turned out to be a Hasina Bano, a Muslim, forced him to convert to Islam and her family made beheading threats.

The incident was reported from Shahnawazpur area of Ayodhya in what appears to be a case of ‘love jihad’.

It all started when Jagbir came to know about his wife’s religious affiliation. Hasina Bano was teaching Islamic Studies to children a few years ago.

When confronted, the wife left for her maternal home following a dispute with Jagbir. Upon return, Jagbir found that one of their children had been circumcised.

In his complaint, Jagbir alleged that when he came to know about the issue, the woman’s family forced him to convert to Islam and made beheading threats.

As he resisted the alleged conversation attempts, her family contacted a local goon identified as Naseer to force him to convert to Islam. On September 18, acting on the complaint, the UP Police arrested Naseer. He was the one who allegedly made the ‘sar tan se juda’ threats.

Jagbir claims that he met Pooja aka Hasina at a railway station 12 years ago. She claimed to be helpless. After this, Jagbir and his family took her home, and a while later he married Pooja (aka Hasina) in court.https://986f2d3a8baceef68fac3cc8f0769252.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html?n=0

They had a son and a daughter. According to Jagbir, she got her son circumcised as per Islamic ritual. When Jagbir objected, Hasina Bano threatened him.
