The Beating Retreat ceremony, which marked the formal end of Republic Day celebrations on 29th January 2023, was held at Vijay Chowk on a bone-chilling rain, though the spirit has not failed them to perform 29 “foot-tapping Indian tunes based on classical ragas by the music bands of the Indian Army, Navy, Air force, State Police and Central Armed Police Force .
