BJP MP from Bishnupur, Saumitra Khan, on Sunday took a dig at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s marital status.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Bishnupur, Saumitra Khan, on Sunday took a brutal jibe at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s marital status and asked “How should one address you Kumari or Shrimati?”
He was speaking at a public meeting in the Bankura district. During his address, he also said, “The All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, is in contact with the ‘Jamtara gang’ and is preparing to loot the EVMs in the upcoming panchayat polls.”
“We will move to the high court if anyone tries to sabotage the polls. We will also reveal all the illegal transactions carried out by the TMC,” Khan said.
Apart from this, he also called on the BJP to join CPI (M) and contest against Trinamool as a coalition in the upcoming panchayat elections. He added, “CPI(M) to strengthen the hands of the BJP.”
