For Dhanteras, Blinkit has announced a new effort that will distribute gold and silver coins in ten minutes. The coins, which come from reliable companies like Malabar, Joyalukkas, and MMTC and are guaranteed to be authentic and of high quality, come in 10g silver and 1g and 0.5g gold variants. This service is a “Dhanteras special” for Blinkit’s clients, according to CEO Albinder Dhindsa.
Exclusive gold and silver coins for the holiday season are being offered by BigBasket, a TATA Enterprise, in collaboration with the jewelry company Tanishq. Among the offers are a 1g 22-karat gold coin, a 1g gold coin with a Lakshmi pattern, and Tanishq’s 10g Lakshmi Ganesh silver coin of 999.9 purity. BigBasket is now able to deliver these currencies in ten minutes across multiple locations thanks to this cooperation, expanding its offerings beyond groceries.
BigBasket’s Chief Buying and Merchandising Officer, Seshu Kumar, said the partnership with Tanishq is a part of a larger plan to provide more than just groceries, especially around the holidays. “This Diwali, BigBasket is committed to fulfilling our customers’ needs in just 10 minutes,” Kumar said.
The trend of traditional purchases becoming more accessible through speedy commerce is reflected in the launch of express delivery services for gold and silver coins by Blinkit and BigBasket. This action not only satisfies the increasing demand for online buying during holiday seasons, but it also makes it easier for customers to follow customs.
