BOBBY CHAKRABORTY’S 454TH ANTI ADDICTION CAMPAIGN AT MOTHERS MISSION SCHOOL EMPOWERS STUDENTS AGAINST HARMFUL SOCIAL TRENDS

A generation, increasingly glued on to social networking sites through smart phones, are falling easy prey to all sorts of harmful social trends like online obscenity, gambling through video games, betting apps, gory violence, not to forget other social evils of smoking, alcoholism and substance abuse from a very early age. The physical and mental health of the youth, who are the pillars of our society is at stake.

Renowned actor/activist/teacher of method acting from Kolkata-India, Bobby Chakraborty has been consistently fighting against all these evils, to guide the young generation towards the correct path of their lives, for over a decade, through his path breaking, global, free of cost, preventive awareness program, titled ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND’.

On 3rd March , he successfully conducted his 454th session, at Mothers Mission School, one of the renowned and upcoming schools in Behala, South Kolkata region. The collaboration between the socially responsible school management Behala Mother Welfare Society, headed by Tapan Chakraborty, with Bobby, brought about a life changing experience for the eager students of the 6th-8th grades.

The official photographer of the eye opening session was active soldier Priyanshi Tripathi(VIII), assisted by soldier Shuvam Swain(VI), who was also designated with the ceremonial title of ‘The 1st important Soldier’.

The all important title of ‘The Trendsetter’ was won by soldier Sumit Roy(VIII). The surprise contest at the end had soldiers Sohini, Nainshi and Yishan as the winners, who, along with Priyanshi, were given special prizes, customised HCF(Health-Career-Family)t-shirts and Community Service Certificates by their beloved ‘Bobby Data.

The extremely interactive adda session, filled with invaluable life lessons and interesting social experiments by Bobby, ended with the kind vote of thanks from senior teacher Poulomi Ma’am and the Trustee/Secretary Tapan Chakraborty, who inundated Bobby with appreciation,for his selfless and tireless efforts to impress young minds so effectively and drive them towards light.
