On October 25, 2022, while they were gambling in a public place from a location close to the CRPF camp Hallo Majra Chandigarh, the Chandigarh police detained Dalip Kumar Tiwari, age 32, Vinod Kumar, age 35, Ramesh, age 30, and Ashish Kumar, age 36. Dalip Kumar Tiwari lives at 312 Village Daria in Chandigarh.
A total of Rs. 5850 was found in their possession in cash. In this regard, PS-31, Chandigarh has filed case FIR No. 173, under section 13-3-67 Gambling Act. They were afterward given a bailout. A case investigation is now being conducted.
