According to a chargesheet submitted by the Navi Mumbai Police, a contract for ₹25 lakh was obtained to murder superstar Salman Khan close to his property in Panvel, Maharashtra.
According to authorities, the contract was taken out by the group headed by incarcerated mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, according to the chargesheet that listed five individuals. The accused were planning to purchase the Turkish-made Zigana weapon, which was used to kill Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala, as well as the cutting-edge AK-47, AK-92, and M-16 guns from Pakistan. To kill Salman Khan, the accused hired guys under the age of eighteen, all of whom are currently hiding in Pune, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Gujarat.

According to the investigation, Sukkha, who was taken into custody on Thursday in Panipat, Haryana, assigned the hit to four conspirators and designated shooter Ajay Kashyap, also known as AK. After conducting a reconnaissance, Kashyap and his crew concluded that expensive weaponry would be needed to carry out the murder because of the actor’s strict security and bulletproof cars.

Sukkha used a video call to negotiate the details of the guns purchase with Dogar, an arms dealer headquartered in Pakistan, while displaying AK-47s and other cutting-edge firearms covered in shawls. Sukha agreed to pay 50% in advance and the rest balance upon delivery in India, while Dogar committed to provide the weaponry.

Additionally, police discovered that all of the gunmen were awaiting approval from Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi and Canadian mobster Goldie Brar. According to the chargesheet, the gunmen also planned to meet in Kanyakumari after shooting the 58-year-old actor. From there, they would take a boat to Sri Lanka and then to a place where Indian investigators couldn’t get to them.

When the police were investigating the shooting incident outside Salman Khan’s Bandra home, they discovered a scheme to target him at his Panvel estate. In the meantime, when former minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique was killed, security has been stepped up outside Salman Khan’s Bandra home. The latter, a leader in Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) group and a former Bandra MLA, was shot close to Bandra’s Nirmal Nagar.
