Congressman Alleges a Pact Between PM Modi And Mamata Banerjee

Congress, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi came under fire from MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury for allegedly conspiring to undermine the Congress.

Mamata Banerjee won’t say or do anything to irritate the prime minister, according to Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who also serves as president of the West Bengal Congress.

The Congress MP has previously made a similar allegation. Previously, Mr. Chowdhury had asserted that PM Modi and Ms. Banerjee had a secret understanding to rescue Trinamool Congress politicians from the federal agencies.

The 2021 West Bengal Assembly Elections were won by Mamata Banerjee’s TMC, according to Mr. Chowdhury. With an eye toward the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress began its massive foot march last year in September from Tamil Nadu.

For the grand finale of the yatra in Jammu and Kashmir on January 30, the party has invited 21 opposition parties. Last month, the Prime Minister virtually flagged off the Vande Bharat Express connecting Howrah and New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal, on the day his mother died.

Ms. Banerjee condoled PM Modi’s mother’s death and thanked him for joining the event in spite of suffering such a huge personal loss.
