Criminal From Bangladesh Was Discovered Hanged In Behala

On November 29 night in Behala, a Bangladeshi national who had allegedly entered India illegally more than two years earlier committed suicide, according to reports. According to the police, Nur-Un Latif Nabi was currently out on bail and was the subject of numerous cases in Bangladesh and India. An officer stated, “We are in touch with RAB and other Bangladeshi agencies.”
“A local named Biswajit Chakroborty informed the Haridevpur police station about the hanging. We discovered a man who was unresponsive. A Haridevpur PS officer stated that he had hanged himself from the fan. Since April, Nabi had shared a home with a woman. His partners claimed that he was despondent, drug dependent, and jobless. She left work at a Baranagar mall at around 9 p.m. on November 29 and discovered the door shut. When she broke down the door, she discovered the man hanging,” the officer added.
DC Saumya Roy stated, “Nabi has a case at Baranagar PS under the 14 Foreigners Act as well as for defrauding and fraud.”
