A tragic incident unfolded at Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa’s farmhouse in Bengaluru as his manager, Sridhar, reportedly took his own life, according to a report from the Times of India. The incident has sparked speculation given Darshan’s connection to the ongoing Renukaswamy murder case.
Sridhar left behind both a suicide note and a video detailing the reasons behind his drastic decision, citing loneliness as a major factor. He took full responsibility for his actions and requested that the police not involve his family in the investigation, as per the report.
Authorities have now initiated an investigation to determine if there is any link between Sridhar’s suicide and Darshan’s alleged involvement in the Renukaswamy murder case, reported by OneIndia. The actor’s previous manager, Mallikarjun B Sankanagoudar, has been missing for seven years, resurfacing old speculations amidst the current scrutiny of Darshan.
Mallikarjun, known for his long association with Darshan managing his professional commitments and finances, had disappeared amid financial troubles linked to film distribution and other undisclosed business ventures. He faced multiple legal issues, including allegations of borrowing money in Darshan’s name, highlighted by a complaint from veteran actor Arjun Sarja over a ₹1 crore loan related to film distribution.
Recent developments in the Renukaswamy murder case have added complexity to the situation. Post-mortem findings revealed that Renukaswamy was subjected to torture involving electric shocks before his death. A suspect named Dhanraj provided critical details to the police, disclosing plans to use electrical devices during the torture. Police have since seized the equipment used in the crime.
Further investigations by authorities have also uncovered evidence suggesting Renukaswamy was branded with hot metal, further underscoring the brutality of the crime.
The tragic suicide of Sridhar, coupled with the ongoing legal and criminal investigations involving Darshan, has intensified public interest and scrutiny. Authorities continue to piece together the events leading up to these incidents as they delve deeper into the complexities of the case.
The developments surrounding Darshan Thoogudeepa and his associates underscore the intersection of personal tragedy and legal implications, highlighting the challenges faced in navigating the murky waters of fame and criminal allegations within the entertainment industry.
