Did Radhika’s father feel embarrassed about relying on her earnings? Police are skeptical

The Haryana Police remains skeptical of Deepak Yadav’s assertion that he murdered his 25-year-old daughter, national-level tennis player Radhika Yadav, due to ridicule from villagers, sources stated. As per sources, Deepak Yadav allowed his daughter to pursue a training career after she experienced a shoulder injury.
Police sources reported that Deepak was quick to anger and often directed his frustration towards his family—his son, daughter, or wife—if they spoke to him.
After her injury, Radhika was joyfully coaching kids. India Today TV contacted the academy’s caretaker, Tanu, who stated that Radhika’s father had never come to the academy.
Deepak Yadav’s one-day remand concludes today, and the police will take him to court.
Radhika Yadav was reportedly killed by her father, Deepak Yadav, at their residence in Gurugram’s Sector 57 on Thursday morning. In his admission to law enforcement, Deepak mentioned that he was disturbed by locals’ jeers implying he was living off his daughter’s earnings and had also heard individuals doubting her reputation.
Deepak also stated that he had requested Radhika multiple times to close the academy. Following her constant refusals, he killed her, as stated in the FIR.
One day after an FIR was lodged regarding the murder of Radhika Yadav, Deepak Yadav, in his first statement, asserted that he was compelled to kill her due to villagers mocking him, stating that he depended on his daughter.
