Senior BJP leader Dilip Ghosh took oath as a minister in the newly formed West Bengal government during a grand swearing-in ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several senior leaders from across the country.
The oath ceremony marked a major political development in West Bengal, with Dilip Ghosh officially joining the new cabinet led by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. Known for his strong organizational background and grassroots influence, Ghosh is expected to play a key role in strengthening rural governance and developmental administration in the state.
Thousands of BJP workers and supporters gathered to witness the event, celebrating what party leaders described as the beginning of a “new era” in Bengal politics. Senior BJP leaders hailed Dilip Ghosh’s induction as an important step toward strengthening governance, infrastructure, and rural development.
Political observers believe Ghosh could be entrusted with significant responsibilities linked to Panchayats and Rural Development, especially considering his influence in rural Bengal and Junglemahal regions.
The presence of Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah added national significance to the ceremony, underlining the BJP leadership’s focus on West Bengal as a key political and developmental state in eastern India.
